The Circle R story
In 1939, Joe Roark bought a small dairy and vineyard tucked into Shoal Creek Valley on Old Scenic Drive. More than eighty-five years later, the Roark family still works this same ground. For years the ranch threw open its gates for Barnyard Days, a festival that welcomed thousands of neighbors, 150+ craft vendors, antique tractors, and one very competitive scarecrow contest. The festival has been quiet for a few years now. That's about to change.
Now we're opening the ranch to the people who matter most: kids.
Roark Ranch isn't a theme park. It's a real ranch where children ride real horses, do real chores, and learn where food actually comes from, with patient animals, big skies, and dirt under their fingernails.
